Work & Employability Skills Hub (WES)

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn specific skills relating to working in businesses that employee car detailers as well as generic employability skills.

The learning objective of this course is to expose students to an industrial kitchen where they can develop skills and knowledge in the area of food preparation, cooking techniques, safe hygiene practices and work expectation in this vocation

This course will explore and develop the skills and knowledge required for students to become active volunteers in their community.


Thursday 9am - 3:00pm

Working in Retail

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn specific skills related to working in a retail environment as well as generic employability skills.


Friday 9am - 3:00pm

Getting a Job

Getting a job

Students will learn how to create resumes in different formats, identify and learn about avenues to find jobs, research skills, interview skills and more.
