MiLife-Victoria will continue to provide pathways to work, volunteering and other vocational activities in 2020 with its Adult and Community Further Education (ACFE) program.


“ACFE is a wonderful opportunity for people with disabilities to gain hands on experience in a working environment whilst improving their confidence and developing work skills and knowledge,” tells Kath Moodie, MiLife-Victoria Area Manager.


The pre-accredited education programs are conducted using flexible teaching methods and are designed to accommodate for the specific needs of the students.


“Students are able to work in a flexible and supportive environment, gaining invaluable skills which they can use in future to find paid employment or continue their education.”

There are 12 courses on offer for 2020 including:


  • Working in Administration
  • Introduction to Warehousing and Distribution
  • Work Skills
  • Working in Car Detailing
  • Working in the Horse Industry
  • YouTube Your Resume
  • Obtaining my ‘L’ Plates
  • Working in Retail
  • Working in Hospitality
  • Horticulture and Nursery Hand
  • Introduction to Basic Computers and Research
  • Active Volunteering

    Courses start in January 2020 and those with a valid Health Care of Concession Card will receive reduced course fees. Enrolment forms can be found at by clicking here.
